"After a long and hard day, I really needed something to lift my spirit. As I was driving through Palmer, Texas, I looked up and saw a man riding a horse across the bridge. He was holding the American flag, and it moved gently in the cold air.Later, I learned that this man rides there every Sunday, waving and smiling at the people that pass by. It may seem like a small thing, but it feels special. It reminds people that simple kindness still matters. Seeing him up there gave me hope and made my whole day better. That’s the true Texas spirit."
