7. Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty;Exodus 34:7. The Almighty God passes by Moses, covering him with His hand, and proclaims His Name to Moses. THE LORD, THE LORD GOD, merciful and gracious, full of self-restraint, unending goodness and truth. This precedes our verse today. God's mercy is shown in Christ, His goodness, His forgiveness of every iniquity and transgression and sin. Cast out of His sight by the blood of His Son. And by no means clearing the guilty, if one has not Christ, one has no pardon, and the justice of the Almighty demands the penalty for rejecting His Son Jesus who, through His sacrifice, made atonement for all who received it. I turned 73 today. I can share with you my experience of knowing Christ. But a greater experience awaits those who search the word of God looking for Jesus, for they will find Him. Jesus is waiting for you to spend time with Him, quality time, where He can give you what nobody else can. Jesus wants to reveal Himself to you today. Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before. Amen.
