Hands up if you think every dog should be brought in from the cold. Dogs don’t understand weather warnings or freezing temperatures — they only understand trust. They trust us to notice when it’s dangerous, to open the door, and to choose their safety over convenience. No dog deserves to shiver alone outside while warmth is just a few steps away.
Bringing them inside isn’t spoiling them — it’s protecting them. A warm place, a safe corner, a little compassion can mean the difference between comfort and suffering. Dogs give us their loyalty every single day. The least we can do is make sure they’re safe when the cold hits.
