True Story:
A Baptist missionary risks his life to give a Russian soldier an Illegal Bible during World War One.
Later, in a muddy trench, thinking he was going to die, that soldier reads that Bible and surrenders his life to Christ.
Generations later, his descendants boldly proclaim that same Jesus to those lost in the muddy trenches of their sin.
That man was my grandfather, and the legacy of his faith in Jesus Christ is a gift I will forever be grateful for.
To that unknown Baptist missionary, “I can’t wait to give you the biggest hug ever given when I meet you in heaven!”
