There’s a particular species roaming and protesting on the streets right now, or are all over social media, and you know them the moment they open their mouths, usually wrapped in neon outrage, costume-level colors, blue or purple hair, a nose ring for punctuation, women wearing their Carhartt gear, trying to look like men, obnoxious, know-it-all, potato shaped white liberal women. They don’t argue, they lecture. They don’t persuade, they shame. They don’t think, they recite. They yell. They scream. They shove forward like water buffalo at a buffet. These people wake up every morning angry at gravity, biology, history, men, work, success, humor, and anyone who didn’t major in Feelings with a minor in Permanent Victimhood. They all share the same look, not always physically, though they're blending, but spiritually. That dead-eyed certainty. Those crazy eyes. That smug little smirk that says, “I am morally and intellectually superior and deeply miserable.”They’ve turned resentment into a personality and grievance into a career path. Every problem in their life is someone else’s fault: Didn’t succeed? The system. Bad relationships? Men. Bad choices? Society. No purpose? Capitalism. Daddy issues? Definitely. Accountability never enters the chat. They screech about “kindness” while being the most hostile, joyless, humorless people you’ll ever encounter. They demand tolerance while practicing ideological extermination. They preach empathy while celebrating anyone who disagrees with them getting fired, silenced, or ruined. And God forbid you ask a question. That’s when the mask slips.Suddenly it’s name-calling, dogpiling, doxxing, reporting, tantrums and frothing at the mouth, because deep down they know something terrifying. If they stop screaming, they’d have to think. And if they think, the whole house of cards collapses. So they cling to slogans. They cling to outrage. They cling to each other, because without the mob, there’s nothing underneath. This isn’t activism. It’s emotional dependency dressed up as righteousness and the country is exhausted by it, tired of your bullshit and fakery. You don’t scare people anymore. You don’t impress anyone. You don’t silence truth, you advertise how fragile your worldview really is. You don't want to build or reach across to the other side. So welcome to accountability.America isn’t broken because of free thinkers, dissenters, or people who still believe in responsibility. It’s strained because a loud, bitter minority confused being offended with being important. And that era? I hope it's ending.
