The worlds simplest batch .Strait honey mead .8 gallons of 14%ABV1 gallon of 18%ABV All of the recipes call for 3 lbs honey per gallon which gives you 14%.I added an extra lb to a 1 gallon batch just to see if there is a reason why none of the recipes call fo a 4th lb ?Cheers from West TX ???
