15. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15 John sees an angel come down from heaven, and he lays hold of Satan and casts him into the bottomless pit for a thousand years. John sees all who refused the mark and refused to worship the beast, who were murdered because they held fast to Jesus. These reign with Jesus until the thousand years are finished. The rest of the dead will be raised after the thousand years are completed. Satan will be loosed from the pit for a short time before being cast into the lake of fire with the beast and false prophet. Then comes the final judgment where there is a separation between the righteous and the wicked. Hell and Death are cast into the lake of fire. This completes the defeat of sin and death. Then all whose names are not in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire. God has now displayed His ultimate victory and power over evil, now and forever. Amen.
