Please help me honor Major Megan McClung. On December 6, 2006, while embedding journalists in combat units in Al Anbar Province, an IED detonated under her Humvee. She, Army Captain Travis Patriquin, and Specialist Vincent Pomante all gave their lives. McClung was the highest-ranking female Marine kill*d in Operation Iraqi Freedom and the first Naval Academy woman graduate kill*d in action. Rest easy Hero 🇺🇸
