13. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.Revelation 7:13 Revelation 7 is in the middle of the opening of the 6th and 7th seals. The pause highlights God's protection over His people, holding back judgment on the world until His people are sealed. 144,000 servants, 12,000 from each tribe of Israel, are chosen. They meet with Jesus at Mount Zion on His return; they are celibate and are the beginning of a great harvest, being marked by integrity and faithfulness. Satan has marked his by a number, 666; Jesus has sealed His from destruction. Verse 13: the church has left the earth, and the verse explains the great multitude of the harvest from the 144,000, saying they have come through a great time of affliction, rescued from the tribulation period. Those rescued have washed their robes in Christ's blood, making them white, not through tears of repentance, nor from the blood of bulls or goats. The only acceptable sacrifice was the blood of Jesus Christ the Lord. The blood of Christ removes sin, its guilt, and its punishment, like it never happened. Are sins were as scarlet, but Christ made us white as snow. Isaiah 1:18. Amen.
