1. And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Revelation 5:1 John is a witness to the Almighty sitting on His throne with a sealed book. A strong angel cries with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to loose the seals and open the book?" John begins to weep because no man was found worthy to open the book in heaven, nor on earth, or under the earth. An elder tells him, "Weep not, for the Lion of the tribe of Judah, of the root of David, has prevailed to loose the seals and open the book." The book is seen as God's will, and seven seals have kept it closed. The history of the universe is written in advance, and only God can remove the seven seals. Christ, the Lamb who was slain for the sins of the world, is found worthy to remove the seals. Christ was slain as the price of redemption; He redeemed us. By His blood, He made redemption possible for all of mankind. As a result of Christ's redeeming work, He made the redeemed kings and priests to Almighty God, and they shall reign because they have been adopted as the children of the Most High. Amen.
