3. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.Revelation 1:3 The Book of Revelation offers a particular and unique blessing to all who read and obey the message of this book. You need not understand everything in this book to receive the blessing. Yet, the more you read it, the more you will understand. Revelation will change the way you live by obeying what Christ says in this book. This book is Christ revealing what is going to happen, and believe it or not, it will take place, for Christ cannot lie. John wrote this book at the command of Christ our Lord. Christ reveals in chapter 1 that He is the Faithful Witness, the first man to die and rise never to die again, who by His blood washed our sins away. Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and everything in between. Christ, the Lamb of God, who was slain.Verse 17, Christ says, "I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." Praise the name of Jesus. It began at Christmas and it shall end with Jesus the Son of the Living God. Amen.
