Narcissists Don't choose losers. They want fantastic people that make them look good, or they can benefit from in some way. So you were deliberately chosen for all the good in you, and all the beauty that is you. Unfortunately narcissists are jealous people, and the reasons they chose you, are the same reasons they resent you for later. They hate that you have beautiful qualities, or have lived a good life before them, or anything that they don't have and never will have. That is partly why you feel like they hate and resent you. They can't stand to see anyone have more than them.
