The B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay made its final flight to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on this day in 1953, where it remained stored outside until 1960. The aircraft went on display at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in 2003 after a two-decade-long restoration project.

I've been to The Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio where Bock's Car is located. It was really cool to see that 2nd of two planes that essentially ended the 2nd World War.
