As a documentary photographer he is interested in telling stories about the influence of landscapes on individuals and their communities. His projects are social landscape stories with a strong focus on the Dutch landscape, agriculture, sustainability, outdoor life and nature. Living in an old farmhouse in North Holland with his wife and three daughters he he is looking for the beauty in everyday life in the landscape surrounding him
