Scripture warns that hostility toward Israel will drastically escalate leading up to the Day of the Lord (Zechariah 12:2–3). The Bible is clear that shortly before the return of Jesus, the Antichrist will invade the land of Israel. “He will invade the Beautiful Land” (Daniel 11:41), and gather many nations against Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2). Paul affirms that this “Man of Lawlessness” will set himself up on the temple mount (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4).As so many voices today, including a growing number of Christian influencers and podcasters, increase their hostility toward Israel, I pray that many will recognize the source of this dark trend. The prophet Joel prophesied that in the final hour, the Lord will gather the nations to Jerusalem, specifically to judge them “on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel” (Joel 3:2). The podcasters call them all manner of names and insults. God calls them “My people” and “My inheritance.”May the discerning resist this drift, cling to the testimony of Scripture, and stand with the purposes of God for the redemption of Israel, His people, and His inheritance.
