Most people don’t abandon God because they “studied the evidence.” They abandon God because obedience costs more than rebellion pays. A foolish woman tears her house down with her own hands. A foolish man burns his down with his own pride. You don’t need demons to destroy a home... just people who refuse to crucify their desires. The modern world calls this “freedom.” Proverbs calls it destruction. And the truth is this: Most of the pain you’re drowning in wasn’t “attacked” into your life. You built it. Brick by brick. Excuse by excuse. Desire by desire. Day after day while convincing yourself you were the victim. This generation isn’t suffering from lack of knowledge... it’s suffering from hatred of wisdom. You can reject God, mock Scripture, blame trauma, blame church, blame pastors, blame parents… but you can’t escape the harvest that grows out of the seeds you keep watering.
