Putin said he’s amenable to signing, but Zelensky is wavering. The EU does not want a deal that cedes too much territory to Russia. They seem to prefer the continued risk of WWIII. Zelensky may not have a choice. His troops are far fewer in number. Ukrainians are fed up with Zelensky and his corrupt regime. It’s time for the war to end. There is no sense in throwing more lives into the meat grinder. If Zelensky refuses to agree, then the war will continue without US aid and assistance. Zelensky’s days are numbered whether he signs or not. An election is due in around 100 days and an unpopular Zelensky can’t keep cancelling them.
