The letter states that these tribunals might be masking themselves as legal courts and issuing orders based on Islamic codes rather than U.S. state or federal law. He writes that legal disputes in Texas must be resolved under American law, rooted in due process, and urges law‑enforcement agencies to look into any such activity.
