Arc-de-Triomphe, France, 1866
They say the Arc de Triomphe weighs 600,000 tons, a mountain of stone somehow hauled into place by “donkeys”, shaped with nothing but hammers & chisels
Just another archway leading nowhere near the truth.
Sevilla, Spain, Cathedral ca 1880

Imagine the scene they expect us to believe, horses dragging massive blocks of limestone through mud, day after day, as if primitive animal power could move thousands of tons without sinking straight into the earth. Muddy roads, wooden carts, and somehow everything “worked out.”
