Retired U.S. Army Colonel Ralph Puckett Jr., age 94, received the Medal of Honor in May 2021 for his extraordinary heroism during the Korean War, when he led 51 Rangers and nine Korean soldiers in defending Hill 205 against overwhelming Chinese forces in 1950. Despite being wounded multiple times, he continued directing the defense and ordering counterfire until he was finally pulled to safety. 🏅🇺🇸
