They tell us that the central tower in the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec was 'added' in 1924 but here is a picture from 1895 - tower is there. You can tell it's that time period from the horses and wagons - but look at the staining on the 'new' hotel.

An Old World Building that went against all narratives to they had to renovate/remodel it!
