1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.2. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God; in him will I trust.Psalm 91:1-2 The psalmist has found the secret place of the Most High. It is His heart. It is a place to live, secure and safe. In His heart is Christ and His obedient sacrifice. A person who is so close to God that he could be covered in His shadow knows God and how He operates. Some know of Christ but never submit to His ways. You cannot get so close to God as to be under His shadow and not be changed. You cannot know the Almighty and not know Christ as Savior and Redeemer. Those who submit to God completely will know God in such a way, as a place of safety and security, because in this place, you find love, pardon, forgiveness, and the eternal salvation promised by Christ. And you have access to every good and perfect gift that comes from above. Because in His presence you have become a doer of the Word of God, not just one who hears. Amen.
