8. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, to day, and for ever.Hebrews 13:8. The author says "yesterday," which is not the day past, but expresses the ancient times before creation. Christ was God then, and He is God now. Christ is today God revealed as a man in person, in office as Prophet, Priest, and King. And will continue in the unchangeable office forever. Suffering the death of mankind once, but never again. Resurrected and sitting at the right hand of the Almighty. In perfection and the essence of God eternal. Our hope, our anchor for our soul. Defeating Satan, sin, and death. Jesus Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. None who trust Him will ever be disappointed or ashamed. They shall be transformed into an eternal being, never to experience pain, suffering, sadness, sickness, or death for eternity. Jesus Christ is worthy of praise and adoration for all He has done for us. Amen.
