Overweight individuals or those with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, asthma, or cancer could have their applications reviewed more strictly, in order to limit potential medical costs.This announcement comes shortly after the agreement aimed at lowering the price of treatments for obesity and diabetes, such as Ozempic.To put the numbers into perspective, nearly 40% of Americans are considered obese, compared to 16% in the rest of the world.
