1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1.
The author is saying that if you see something, faith is not present and hope has ceased.
This faith is rooted in believers who, without seeing God, Christ the Son, or the Holy Ghost, believe as if they were seeing and touching Them.
This faith is the belief that Christ created all things, and we cannot approach the Almighty except through Christ the Lord.
This faith is all in; half measures are not rewarded.
This faith believes that one God in the personality of the Almighty, Christ the Son, and the Holy Ghost cannot be pleased unless a person believes that God will reward all who seek Him diligently, meaning, to search for in worship, seeking God's favor in prayer, to investigate God through the truth of His word.
This faith reveals the spiritual realm, just as your eyes see the physical world.
You cannot enter the spiritual realm with the tools of this world.
This faith is a willingness to trust, to rely on, and to cling to the salvation of Christ, His reward of eternal life, that Christ's sacrifice is continually in the mind of the Almighty, and we have peace with Him because of His Son. Amen.
