This now… was part of the cinema experience. You hadn’t lived until you heard the rustle of tubs and wooden spoons at the interval. The ice-cream lady in her crisp white uniform, weaving through the rows with that iconic tray — handing out choc ices, tubs of vanilla, and those little wooden paddles that never quite worked. Pure magic before the second half.
