In this phone call, the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest was emphasized.
The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Qatar, while expressing concern about tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, stressed the importance of continued good-faith efforts by regional countries to maintain peace and stability in the region.
The parties also discussed the latest developments related to Gaza and the recent US-proposed resolution to the Security Council, emphasizing the continuation of consultations to prevent the violation of the legitimate rights of the palestinian people, especially the right to self-determination.
