Hold My Coffee , Let’s Run the Tape. Hollywood Star Tyler Perry known for Madea says, “In Trump’s America, there is no dream that looks like me.”
Interesting, because you purchased 330+ acres of Fort McPherson in Atlanta back in 2015 — over $30 million — and built one of the largest film studios in the country right before Trump took office and it did great
Then by 2020, while Trump was President, Forbes declared you a billionaire.
Not almost.
Not “on the way.”
A billionaire.
So explain to us again how “the dream doesn’t look like you” when you:
• Own the studio.
• Own the content.
• Own the library.
• Own the distribution.
• And became the boss of bosses during the very presidency you’re complaining about.
This isn’t about “no opportunity.”
This is about Hollywood needing you to act oppressed to stay invited to the table.
But the receipts are loud:
You didn’t get blocked.
You didn’t get silenced.
You didn’t get held back.
You got PId
And you got paid in Trump’s America.
