The author speaks of God fighting against our enemies, those who have set their minds to destroy us. It is very clear who this is: Jehovah, the self-existing One. Jehovah God and Christ are inseparable. After a disappointing election, fear not. Muslims have a god who sends men to fight for him. Jehovah God fights in person for His own."The Lord will fight for you" (Exodus 14:14). "God is the One who goes with you to fight for you" (Deuteronomy 20:4). "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:3). "The Lord hears and delivers them out of their troubles" (Psalm 34:17). Islam cannot prevail against Jehovah God. Their book says Allah hates sinners and the wicked, and they rejected Christ, who is the only acceptable sacrifice for sin. So they are not equipped to triumph over the God who, by His words, created all things seen and invisible. The greatest victory of Christ, who is God (John 1:1), is His victory over Satan, sin, and death. Christ's victory is yours this day. Amen.
