Don’t know if this will work, but it’s worth a try

Debbie McElhannon White | Phoenix had an earache, so we went to the doctor and then picked up her prescriptions. While at the pharmacy, the pharmacist shared a little trick he learned from a flight attendant to relieve ear pressure—and it actually worked!
Here’s what you do:
• Heat up a coffee mug of water in the microwave
• Pour the water out
• Quickly dry the inside of the mug
• Then place the warm mug over the ear and leave it there until it cools
According to Joe D. White, it works because as the cup cools, the air inside contracts and forms a gentle vacuum. That helps relieve pressure on the eardrum, and the warmth relaxes it too.
Neat little hack—and a relief for Phoenix!
