BREAKING: An illegal alien from Ecuador escaped ICE custody in New York yesterday and it still on the run: Statement via DHS “On Oct. 23, Erik Alejandr Armijos, who confirmed to ICE officers he is illegal alien from Ecuador, escaped from ICE custody during transport for post-arrest processing. Armijos faked feeling ill and when the ICE officer slightly lowered the window to provide the alien some comfort, he brazenly launched himself out of the window, breaking it in the process. Multiple arrest teams, with support of federal law enforcement partners, attempted to locate Armijos to no avail. The illegal alien remains at large, and the search is still ongoing.
