He told us how an angel had appeared to him in his home and had told him, 'Send messengers to Joppa, and summon a man named Simon Peter.'" — Acts 11:11-13 NLT Today's Prayer Lord, I love the stories in the Bible about how You repeatedly helped Your people, the Jews, but I am especially thankful that You have grafted in Gentiles like me into the tree of life through faith in Jesus Christ as Your only Son. This story in Acts seems to be the first time that happened, and every day I’m thankful I’m included so I can have a relationship with You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
