13. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.1 Thessalonians 4:13. Paul's letter here is to build faith and also to comfort those who have lost a loved one. The world who rejected Christ has no hope, no comfort, for they pass from this world to eternal destruction. Christ who died in our place, and rose from death, whose promises are yes, and let it be so. Shall descend from heaven with a shout and all who sleep in Christ shall rise first. And we which remain shall be caught up together in the clouds. And so we shall forever be with the Lord. Amen.
