Since his wife joined Ocean Conservancy, the group got $14.2M in federal grants, including $6.9M from bills Whitehouse pushed. This is in stark comparison to the 8 years before she worked with the NGO - the non profit organisation received about $500,000 total in grants. Approximately $2.686 million paid to Whitehouse's wife directly or through her consulting firm, Ocean Wonks LLC, by the Ocean Conservancy from fiscal year 2010 through 2023, according to the group's IRS tax filings. This is a clear conflict of interest and a violation of Senate rules! The Ethics Committee must investigate NOW! 🧐
