WILL PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST LAST? Cartoon published 10/09/2025 The Peace President, Donald John Trump. Thanks to President Trump, Israel and Hamas have forged a peace agreement. All the hostages held by Hamas (living or dead) will be released and the IDF will cease fire and pull back. The deal is another reason why our president deserves the Peace Prize, but he may not get it since it’s controlled by anti-Trump globalists. Given the entrenched ‘river to the sea’ mindset by Hamas and the Palestinians, the peace may not last long. Israel has faced attacks since it was created in 1948. I remember President Clinton worked hard to get the Palestinians to agree to a peace deal that included statehood and generous concessions from Israel. At the last minute, Yasser Arafat backed out. He wanted ‘jihad’ instead and so the violence and terrorism continued. Forgive me if I’m cynical, but Hamas had no choice this time around. They were forced to agree to peace—otherwise they would have faced obliteration. Now they have time to regroup and recover. Eventually they will attack Israeli citizens once again. I hope I am wrong.
