Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.Colossians 1:28 Paul reveals the Treasures Hidden in Christ.Paul only preached Jesus. Warning every man, meaning to put in mind, Jesus came to save sinners. Only Jesus can do this; His blood is the only acceptable sacrifice for sin. All stand guilty before Almighty God without Christ. And there is nothing waiting for the guilty except judgment. The difference between false teaching and the true God is Christ died while we were yet sinners. Christ saved us; He is God, who created all things. He is a God of Life, not death. You cannot force a person to love Christ. He, by invitation, asks, "Come to Me." The choice is yours, and Christ at the end will be just in His judgment. Those of us who accepted the invitation are perfected in Christ, not that we would ever be perfect in this body of sin. Yet we are covered in Christ's righteousness, and He is the perfect Man, the visible image of the Invisible God. These words, warning and teaching, are not to the ungodly; they are wise words to those that seek a true relationship with the True God. Amen.
