My daughter did this with her son (the one she was convinced wouldn’t see 15 because he was such a mouthy little - - - - when he was 14) and it’s paid off Big Time. Didn’t mattered what time of the day or night he texted… she picked him up… no questions asked. If he wanted to talk about it… he could with no judgement… if not… he didn’t have to. He’s now a Senior in College, has been on the Dean’s List all 4 years and is studying for his MCAT. He wants to be come a surgeon. I have no doubt he’ll ace the exam, be accepted wherever he wants to go and will be a terrific surgeon.
