25. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;Ephesians 5:25. Paul has some things to say about marriage. Men are to love their wives as Christ loved the church, His followers, and we are to honor the wife even to give our life in her place. My first marriage I failed miserably; I can blame no one but myself. There is no way you can honor God, if you are disrespecting what He created. Paul's instruction is to love the wife like she is our body; whoso loves his wife is loving himself. No godly man has ever hated his own flesh, but cares for it like Christ nourished the church. So husbands and wives should reverence each other, for we are both members of Christ's body. Amen.
