4. They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.Proverbs 28:4. God gave Moses laws in the Old Testament: there are 613, 248 are positive (do this), and 365 are negative (do not do this). The penalty for violations is death. Christ is the creator of the universe and all things seen and unseen.Men have discovered laws like gravity, which you have experienced when you fell to the ground. Many other laws have been discovered; men did not write them, yet Christ used them to form us and the world. As there are consequences for breaking these laws, so there are for breaking spiritual laws, which we all have, and Christ has paid our debt to sin's punishment with His blood. There are people sent by God to contend with lawbreakers, preaching the Gospel message, the word of the Living God. And these people are doing their best to convert a sinner by bringing them to repentance. Amen.
