My $30 100% cotton sheets are 20 years old , on wash day , I take them off the bed , wash & dry them & put them right back on the bed.. I use that $1300 to pay my property taxes that I have been paying for almost 60 years , at least , I own the sheets..

Just paid $13500 for a suit to be made to measure. Some things are expensive because of materials, or labor, or branding. Usually, all three.
