16. And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.Ecclesiastes 3:16. The author of Ecclesiastes was King Solomon, who received a wise and understanding heart that none had before nor will any after him attain. 1 Kings 3:12. Solomon saw that where justice should have been, there was wickedness, and where righteousness should be in church or business, there was iniquity. Solomon's wisdom is that in daily life, if one does not have to confront eternity, then many wicked win, and many good and upright people lose. But Christ the Lord has the last word. He shall judge the righteous and the wicked. God has knowledge of the wicked on a slippery slope to destruction. He is also aware of the sure reward to the faithful and just. Take your eyes off this world for it has an appointed end. Yet the Saints of God, all followers of Christ, look up; they have an everlasting reward. Amen.
