This popped up on my facebook memories today about my Brother Tom from his Bible awards in 2017, he passed almost 2 years ago. I remember someone (no family or relation) at that time made a comment to me why was I publicly giving him credit that was his blessing and God wouldn’t bless him now I thought how ignorant are people. Give honor where honor is due. Anyway I didn’t respond to them and later down on my memories of another year same date September 15 was this post I made Be known as an encourager and not a criticizer. The old proverb “You will catch more flies with honey than you will with vinegar” is true. People respect and listen to those that encourage them. If you are heavy on encouragement, you will be heard if you need to reprove.Being an encourager is easy if you learn to look for the good in others rather than the faults. This tends to be difficult if you have allowed the world to make you cynical.
