Sundays thought: September 14, 2025…Smith Wigglesworth lived in England. He tells about the time a mother and daddy contacted him. Their young married daughter had lost her mind.They phoned Wigglesworth, sent him a telegram, and wrote him a letter to see if he would come help them.Wigglesworth didn’t just go anywhere and everywhere he was asked to go. If he did, he’d have been on the go all the time. But when God told him to go, he went.Well, the Lord told Wigglesworth to go visit that mother and daddy, so he simply wrote them a note saying he’d be there on such-and-such day at ten o’clock in the morning.When Wigglesworth arrived, he rang the doorbell of their palatial home, and the couple opened the door. They never said a word. One of them took Wigglesworth by one hand, the other one took him by the other hand, andthey led him down a hallway and up a flight of stairs to a closed door.The daddy of the young girl who’d lost her mind pushed open the door.Then both he and the mother stepped back, leaving Wigglesworth standing in the doorway. Wigglesworth looked inside the room and saw a beautiful young lady with five grown men holding her down. The woman looked toward Wigglesworth, wild-eyed, and just thrust the five grown men away from her!Five grown men could not hold this girl down! Many times when demon power is in operation, the people through whom the demon power isoperating have supernatural or super-human strength.After this young girl rose up and tore herself loose from the five grown men, she faced Wigglesworth, her eyes blazing. “You can’t cast me out!” a voice said, because that devil had taken her over and was using her voice.Wigglesworth said, “Jesus can. And in the Name of Jesus Christ ofNazareth, come out of her!”Thirty-seven devils came out, giving a name. Afterwards, the young girl’s mind was perfectly restored. She walked down the stairs and had the evening meal with her family.Somebody said to Wigglesworth, “What’s your secret?” (If you could learn his secret, you could do the same thing!)“How did you do it?” the person asked.e; I don’t care how many devils are in her, He that’s in me is greater!”So, you see, we need to learn about faith. You and I can’t always operate under the anointing. But we can always operate in faith, anointing or no anointing, because we’ve got God’s Word.Faith in God’s Word always works — every day, every time, every hour.Faith in God’s Word is best.
