I kept hearing in my heart, is this a Stephen moment for the U.S. Church? Stephen was the first Christian martyr in the New Testament.I know we have had other Christians killed in our country, including the children at the catholic school in Minneapolis this year. Yet, Charlie Kirk was in the act of witnessing for Christ at the very moment he was murdered. And he was expressly killed because his witness to the truth of Jesus Christ is why he was killed.Unfortunately, this is the world we live in. As true Christians those of the evil one will hate us and want us killed. Jesus said, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first."Stand strong.
