How many of you have taken communion without giving it much thought at all? I have certainly drank the blood and tasted the body of Christ more in a ceremonial sense rather than a truly powerful and thoughtful experience. We take communion as a reminder that Christ is our strength and our redeemer. His sacrifice forgives our sins and his sacrifice needs to be remembered. This verse helps illustrate the importance of Christ’s sacrifice.

I have yet to. Maybe apathy would do me better.
I recently read the Gospels, and became aware that unless I eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, I will have no life in me.
Pardon an analogy, but this is now on the front buner!
