7. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,8. I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, the law is within my heart.Psalm 40:7-8The psalmist here, in a prophetic verse, reveals Christ's personality in coming into the world in the form of a man. This appearance is at the proper time in the proper place. Christ revealed His willingness to come freely as the one-time sacrifice for all sin. And we will never comprehend the cost to Christ's human body, for He suffered more than anyone has ever suffered, and all for us. It is in the scriptures that Christ is made known. His delight was to do the will of God. Without sin, He succeeded where we failed.2 Corinthians 1:20, For the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen. Not one of Christ's promises will fall short of completion.All who put their trust in Him shall never be disappointed. Amen. Let it be so!
