"The Great Spokane Fire was a major fire which affected downtown Spokane, Washington (called "Spokane Falls" at the time) on August 4, 1889." A picture of Seattle taken ONE YEAR before the great fire burned this lot to ash. Some more scenes from San Francisco in 1894. One year after Chicago's Roman City, before it had even 'burned down'. It always lost money - yet they churned out implausible quantities in unexplainable quality.
