Authoritarian Parallels: Nazism, Islamist Rule, and the Role of the Far Left
1. The Erosion of Language and Guilt
In Germany, the historical guilt complex tied to Nazism has long shaped political and cultural life. The word “Nazi” once carried a weight so heavy that it defined national identity through collective shame. Yet, through overuse and “cancel culture,” the power of that word has been diluted. Everything and everyone gets labeled “Nazi” today—whether it fits or not—making the term lose its sharp, historical meaning.
2. Nazi Policy vs. Islamist Rule
When stripped down to their operational rules, Nazism and fundamentalist Islam share striking similarities in how they control populations:
Nazi Policy Islamist Policy (Sharia Rule)
Strict racial hierarchy: Aryans above all others. Strict religious hierarchy: Muslims above non-Muslims, men above women.
State-approved art, literature, and speech; all else censored or destroyed. Religious censorship: blasphemy laws, banned books, banned speech.
Women relegated to “Kinder, Küche, Kirche” (children, kitchen, church). Women controlled through dress codes, guardianship, restricted public roles.
Harsh punishment for dissenters, traitors, and “undesirables.” Harsh punishment for apostates, critics, or those violating religious codes.
Cult of obedience to the Führer. Absolute obedience to clerics and “God’s law.”
Expansionist ideology to dominate Europe. Globalist ideology of spreading the Caliphate.
Core similarity: Both systems demand total conformity, crush individual freedom, and punish anyone who doesn’t fit their ideological mold.
3. Islamism as Militant Doctrine, Not Just Religion
At its strictest interpretation, Islamism is not about private belief or personal spirituality. It functions as a total political doctrine that dictates law, culture, and governance.
Unlike religions that focus inward (personal salvation, moral guidance), militant Islam has always carried an expansionist mandate:
Dar al-Islam vs. Dar al-Harb (world of Islam vs. world of war): everything outside Islamic rule must eventually be conquered or subdued.
Jihad is not only spiritual but openly military, used to expand territory and enforce compliance.
The very name “Islam” means “submission,” highlighting the expectation that all societies must bend to it.
Death Cult Dynamics
Whereas most religions value life, militant Islam glorifies death:
Martyrdom is rewarded with paradise.
Suicide bombings are sanctified as holy acts.
Killing unbelievers is not only permitted but honored.
This transforms it from a faith into what looks more like a militant death cult, weaponizing religion to sanctify conquest and bloodshed.
4. The Parallels With Nazism
Nazism sought world conquest through racial purity and domination. Islamism seeks world conquest through religious purity and domination. Both share:
A binary worldview of “us vs. them.”
Absolute obedience to ideology.
Dehumanization of outsiders.
Willingness—even eagerness—to sacrifice lives for the cause.
Both ideologies are totalitarian at their core, and both use mass death as a tool of power.
5. The Far Left as “Useful Idiots”
Lenin’s phrase “useful idiots” perfectly describes the role of today’s Western far left. In their ideological zeal:
They champion unlimited multiculturalism, even when it protects intolerant ideologies.
They excuse or normalize Islamist practices in the name of “tolerance” while silencing critics as “racist” or “Islamophobic.”
They fail to see that under actual Islamist rule, their cherished progressive causes—women’s rights, LGBTQ rights, free art, free thought—are the very first to be crushed.
In reality, the far left serves as the unwitting enabler of a system that mirrors the very tyranny they claim to oppose. By attacking their own societies and undermining resistance, they create the opening for authoritarian forces to advance.
6. Conclusion
Nazism and Islamism may stem from different sources—one secular and racial, the other religious—but their methods, goals, and authoritarian spirit are nearly identical. Both seek global domination, both demand blind obedience, and both embrace death as a legitimate tool of power.
The tragedy today is that the far left, blinded by guilt politics and ideological naivety, acts as the shield and cover for these forces. They are not partners in building a better society but disposable tools, to be discarded once authoritarian rule is secured.
