This is actually true... it's also why renting a UHaul to California is like 1/3 the price of renting one to leave.The problem is the classic “I hated where I lived, so I moved somewhere better” story, but they forget that the reason their old state declined wasn’t random bad luck, it was the policies and mindset they voted for. Then they bring the same ideology to the new place, slowly recreating the same problems they ran from.It’s like moving out of a house because the roof leaks, then insisting your new house needs the same roofer who botched the last one. Eventually, you’re back under buckets catching drips again.
