3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;Psalm 103:3.The psalmist begins Psalm 103, "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits."The first experience we have with Christ is redemption from destruction. We shall all pass from this world to the next, but not all will be rewarded. Every benefit from God comes from His love, His kindness, and tender mercies. The forgiveness of all sins means everything for everyone. The one sin without pardon is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost; one who has done this is far from asking forgiveness of any sin.The healing of the body is a benefit that, once experienced, will be hard to forget. I know from personal experience, being flat out on a bed for about a year. Some say this is a spiritual disease, but this word is defined as a malady, meaning illness, affliction, or ailment. Christ is the Great Physician; He is able to heal what He created. Sin and disease are all under Christ's authority. He has not dealt with us according to our sins and iniquities. For He remembers we are but dust, our days are as grass, and like a flower fading away, but the mercy of Christ is everlasting.Bless the Lord, O my soul. Amen.
